Welcome back to 704 Air Force City Cadet Squadron!
Congratulations to Officer Cadet Pauline Paul on being sworn in as a CIC Officer on Monday night.
Important Reminders
1. To report an absence for a training night, please notify one of the officers in person, OR call or text the squadron phone number OR fill out the Notice of Absence form on the website. Commenting on Facebook or telling another Cadet is not an appropriate way to notify the squadron of an absence.
2. OPC Lottery Tickets: The sale of these tickets benefit our Squadron so we are able to attend trips and optional activities. These funds also help maintain the gliders and tow planes, so you can go gliding. Each Cadet is expected to sell one book. As we did last year, our Sponsoring Committee would like $60.00 up front from each cadet for the book of tickets. When the tickets are sold, return only the stubs and keep the money. If you have not already done so, please bring in your $60 on Monday and pick up your tickets.
3. We are always in need of Parent Volunteers of all types, whether it is for the parents committee and canteen or for other activities. If you are interested in helping out, please contact the Commanding Officer.
4. Although there is a canteen available on most Monday evenings to purchase snacks, we like to encourage healthy eating and therefore are asking parents to help out by providing fresh fruit (whole apples, oranges or bananas) for cadets on Monday evenings. If you are interested in making a donation, please let someone on the parents committee know so that you can be added to the schedule.
5. For Senior Cadets Only - CLICK HERE for the link to the National Course Handbook for 2019.
