December 3, 2019 Newsletter
Welcome to 704 Air Force City Cadet Squadron!
Congratulations to our newest Warrant Officer First Class, WO1 Chris Paul!
We have a number of people to thank this week:
- All those who participated (by donating or buying) in our online auction. It was a huge success.
- All the Cadets who participated in the various holiday parades. It was great to see the participation.
- The Cadets who served dinner at 413 Wing's Charter Night. 413 Wing truly appreciates your assistance.
Important Reminders
Parents are allowed and encouraged to come into the school gym to listen to the closing parade announcements at the end of each training night. We are aware that Cadets can sometimes forget to pass on information so this is another way to stay informed about what is happening in the squadron.
OPC Lottery Tickets: The sale of these tickets benefit our Squadron so we are able to attend trips and optional activities. Each Cadet is expected to sell one book. As we did last year, our Sponsoring Committee would like $60.00 up front for the book of tickets. When the tickets are sold, return only the stubs and keep the money. There are still more than 15 books of tickets that have not been picked up. Please do your part to help the squadron raise much needed funds.
If you are unable to attend training on a Monday night or an event that you have signed up for, you need to call the squadron at 613-921-7047 or report your absence on the squadron website. Commenting on Facebook or telling a friend are NOT acceptable means of reporting your absence. This is the Cadets responsibility not their parents.
Please add the following events to your calendar for the 2019-2020 Training Year:
Standard Monday night training will not be posted here unless there is something special happening such as Sports night that may occur at a different location. Team practices will be posted here a few weeks in advance.
