Weekly Announcements: 19 September 2016
1. Monday, September 19, 2016 is a regular training night at Breadner Elementary School (31 Gimli Road, CFB Trenton). Please wear civilian footwear and carry in your parade boots. Cadets are to arrive not earlier than 5:45 pm and are to be picked up not later than 9:00 pm. Bring a friend and don't forget to spread the word about 704 Squadron and help us grow!
2. Like last year, our supply section will not be onsite at Breadner Elementary School. It will take us a couple of weeks to get everything up and running --- if you've outgrown your uniform over the summer, please speak to Capt Dixon about how to exchange uniform parts. In the meantime, please wear an appropriate white shirt with black pants until you are able to obtain replacement uniform parts.
3. We are THRILLED to announce that we will be forming a band this year! If you play an instrument (or want to learn), please speak to Capt Dixon. More information to follow.
4. The Parents' Committee will be holding a bottle drive on Monday, September 19, 2016 to fundraise for the squadron. If you have any empty bottles, please bring them with you that night.
5. The Parents' Committee will hold their first meeting on Monday, September 26th. All are welcome to attend and join the committee!
As always, we can be reached at administration@704aircadets.ca if you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming year. We think it's going to be the best one yet!
