Welcome to 704 Air Force City Cadet Squadron!
It has been an amazing training year that is winding down but there are still a number of events to look forward to.
Important Reminders and Notices:
* Due to a posting transfer, one our Cadet families is in need of an alternate family to host a 16 year old male student from Paris, France for a three month period commencing approximately August 20th, 2018. If you are interested or for more information please contact, Mike Broughton at 613-438-2822 (call or text).
* IF you receive a promotion at the Awards Banquet on 30th May, your new rank badge MUST be sewn on to your uniform before the Annual Ceremonial Review and Inspection on 2nd June. You must also return your old rank slip-ons to Mrs. Comerford on the morning of 2nd June to receive your new rank slip-ons.
Upcoming Activities:
* Wednesday 30th May - Awards Night, for Cadets and those who paid for dinner - at Batawa Community Centre. 81 Plant Street, Batawa - 6pm arrival and we hope to be finished by 9pm - Cadets are not to be in uniform for this evening.
* Saturday 2nd June - Annual Ceremonial Review and Inspection - at Marc Garneau School - Cadets are to arrive at the school at 8:30am in appropriate civilian attire but MUST bring their full uniform (this includes tunic, tie and medals, if Cadets have earned them) with them to change into for the afternoon ceremony. Lunch will be provided for Cadets. Guests are to be seated by 1:45pm for a 2pm Ceremony start. Military Dress is 1A and Civilian Dress is business casual. There will be a short reception at the school following the ceremony.
* Monday 4th June - Bowling - 6-9pm at Club Med Bowl, 31 Dundas Street East, Trenton - There is no cost for this event unless Cadets want to purchase a snack at the bowling alley.
* Saturday 9th June - Deseronto Parade - 9am sharp leave from RCAF Arena - return approximately 1:30-2pm - Full Dress
* Saturday 9th June - Fun Day BBQ at Batawa Community Center, 4-10pm
* Monday 11th June - 6:15-8:45pm at The Empire Theater, Belleville - "As the Crow Flies" a Movie about Air Cadets on the glider/power training course. The Film maker will be there for questions after the movie. Admission is free but popcorn and beverages can be purchased from their canteen.
Please add the following events to your calendar for the 2018-2019 Training Year:
* Monday 10th September - First training night of the year
