1. Monday, February 1 is a regular training night. Cadets are reminded to wear civilian footwear and change into their parade boots at the school. Dress is full uniform with tunic and tie (C2). Cadets are to arrive not earlier than 5:45 pm and are to be picked up not later than 9:00 pm
2. Friday, January 29 is Cadet Night at the Markham Royals vs. Trenton Golden Hawks game in Markham at the Markham Centennial Arena. The bus will be departing from the RCAF Flyers Arena parking lot at 4:30pm. Cadets should be dropped off not later than 4:15pm. There is no cost for this event. A meal will be provided by the Markham Royals hockey team for all cadets. Cadets should bring snacks and/or spending money. All cadets must be in full uniform and have their OHIP card with them.The bus will be returning at approximately 11:30pm to the RCAF Flyers Arena parking lot. All questions can be directed to Capt. Kendall.
3. On Monday, February 1, there will sign up sheets for cadets interested in trying out for the following teams: Marksmanship, Exertion and Effective Speaking. More information will follow.
4. Winter FTX for Levels 3 – 5, hosted by 173 Sqn, will take place February 19-21. Any questions can be directed to the Training Officer, Lt. Morin.
5. Our sponsor, 413 Wing RCAFA Ladies Auxiliary, has requested the assistance for 6-8 cadets for serving dinner at a function at the Masonic Lodge in Belleville. If you are available, see Capt. Kendall on Monday evening.
6. April 16 will be our Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser held at 413 Wing, RCAFA. More details to come.
7. Cadets are reminded to return their Summer Training Course Selection form to the Administration Section as soon as possible. If you have not received a form, you can pick one up on Monday evening.
8. Our phone number has changed to 613-921-7047. You can also contact us through our website www.704aircadets.ca.
9. Our supply section is not on site at Breadner Elementary School. Supply is being stored at Active Self Storage, 400 Sidney Street, Trenton. Starting immediately, cadets needing supply will be required to make an appointment. This can be done by talking directly to the Supply Staff. Cadets can also request an appointment by contacting us by phone or through our website.
10. Wednesday evenings is Drill Team practice at Breadner Elementary School.
11. A reminder that 704 Sqn is always accepting donations of Canadian Tire money to help offset the cost of supplies and equipment. 12. Reminder to work on boots and uniform. Refer to our links on our web page.
13. If your cadet is going to be absent from any training night or other squadron activity, the cadet must call the squadron and leave a message stating the reason for their absence. The Squadron has a new number and may be reached at 613-921-7047. If preferred, please utilize the "Notice of Absence" feature on our website.
